Description

Overview & Engineering Characteristics

BAOTI titanium castings are produced using vacuum investment casting (lost wax) and centrifugal casting processes. Our foundry can handle castings from small intricate aerospace components to large industrial pump housings weighing up to 500kg. Titanium casting offers near-net-shape manufacturing, reducing material waste and machining time for complex geometries. All castings undergo HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) to eliminate porosity and achieve wrought-equivalent mechanical properties.

Manufacturing Process

Wax pattern injection
Ceramic shell investment
Vacuum arc skull melting
Centrifugal or gravity pour
HIP processing
CNC finishing

Available Surface Finishes

As-Cast (investment)
CNC Machined
Shot Peened
Chemical Milling
